Today’s AF run 11/30/05

1 December 2005 7 Comments

Well, well, well, I actually went on a run outside today. I felt good, and I felt strong, like I’m finally getting in shape. I noticed a couple of girls checking me out while I was running, or maybe they were just thinking “that guy really needs to wear some longer shorts or something”. Who knows, and who cares. I did the 2.5 mile loop on the Riata hike and bike trail and did some weights for about 30 minutes since I have to work late tonight. I’m sitting here thinking that I should’ve done more weights, but I also need to start hitting the core with something other than beer, spaghetti and pizza. I realized that I could lose a ton of weight if I just had the discipline to eat better given that I exercise so damn much. That’s a whole other story though.

Today’s run’s stats:
Terrain: Cement sidewalk with some asphalt
Distance: approx 2.5 miles
Time: 31:05 (Scheduled time was 30 minutes)
Pace: Avg 12:24 min/mile
Noteworthy: I thought I’d run at a faster pace than that. I did walk a little much on the way out, and I didn’t have my camelback, which always makes the runs easier. Regardless, I guess the clock doesn’t lie.

Well, then that ain’t right. I liked it cuz it told me I could weigh more than any other one of those things said.

It is because men can have extra weight on them, but women can’t.

Women can have extra weight on them, as long as it’s in the right places… nodamene?
