I got up this morning to go for a run. I hadn’t done that in who knows how long, but regardless it needed to be done.
After my fairly good performance running on Sunday, I figured I need to keep it up if I’m going to run this marathon. So, I grabbed my iPod, got dressed and left.
It was a nice chilly morning with not a lot of wind, just the way I like it. For some reason, a cop kept circling past me, maybe he was thinking “there’s no way in hell this fat ass is still going to be running” and he seemed surprised everytime he went past and saw me still running.
I’m really not sure what that was all about, but seeing the same cop 3 times seems like more than just a coincidence.
The Stats:
Route: The infamous run around the fire station block
Terrain: Cement sidewalk
Time: 32:52
Distance: total approx 2.8 miles per satellite mapping
Pace: 11:40
Noteworthy: felt good for the most part, a little tired at the end going up the gentle incline, but all in all a good, encouraging run.
