Earlier this week, I visited my friend Brownie’s blog, just to see what he was up to and to read up on whatever race he just finished. I saw some stuff about the “Fat Ass Trophy” and a 50k race that Brownie was organizing.
Little did I realize, that his little 50k race would attract people like Scott Jurek to come run it. I’m impressed.
Looks like Brownie and Anton Krupicka were the primary organizers, through a shout out should also go out to Katie, Brownie’s girlfriend for letting all those people come into her house and trash the place. Before heading out on trail, the 93 participants gathered at Brownie’s, aka JT, house to get briefed and get organized.
