This past Sunday the 23rd, I made it out to the Barton Creek Greenbelt for a run. It had been almost 10 months since the last time I was out there.
The weather, was perfect. Cloudy, calm wind, 50 degrees fahrenheit, early evening quiet.
There were no mountain bikers out there, but there were a bunch of rock climbers. Rock climbers have never bothered me since I don’t have to share the trail with them. Mountain bikers are a whole other story.

Anyway, I made it out to the Gus Fruh entrance from the 360 trail head. It’s marked as 1.5 miles, but my GPS says the distance was closer to 1.38 miles. I hate it when the GPS breaks my preconceived notions about distance etc.

I circled a bit on my way back to the car and made it an even 3.01 miles for the day. Longest run this year. My pace was super slow, but encouraging nonetheless.
