30 Days in, 30 lbs off
30 days into the new fitness routine, I’m down 30 lbs. Not bad, but the real hard part is keeping it off, and going down even more. I still have about another 90 or so to go, but overall I’m happy.
How did I do it?
A combination of eating better, exercising more, and medication.
Actually, I shouldn’t say eating better, because I’m still very much on the “see food” diet. The “see food” diet is known as the “I see food, I eat it” diet. I still eat the occasional donut, cupcake, etc. I just eat 1 instead of several.
I think if you’ve spent anytime on this blog recently, you’ll be able to tell just what kind of exercising I’m doing, how much of it, where and what medication I’m taking.

Hey! Just came across your blog. We are on similar journeys! I used to be on the “see food” diet but changed my ways. I am much better for it.
I would give one word of advice… patience. You didn’t get to where you are today overnight, and you won’t get to where you want to be overnight either. Take your time. Make it a lifestyle change, not a diet. Diet’s don’t work. It’s only when you learn and live a new lifestyle that you will truly free yourself from the extra pounds.
I am cheering you on!
Thanks!
Just ran across your blog and love it! I’ll be cheering you on. You’ll be at your goal before you know it – just keep working your plan. My weight loss journey took me 18 months. I lost 162#’s. During the process, I learned to love running. I plan to attempt my first Grand Canyon R2R2R next spring. Looking forward to following your progress! :0)
Thank you Alice! The Grand Canyon R2R2R is a badass race, you rock!
