Last Pre-marathon run

Well, there I was, on the town lake hike and bike trail on my last re-race run. I was only supposed to do 25 minutes, which I was totally cool with. My legs felt a little heavy at the beginning of the run and I was actually feeling a bit out of breath. Of course, it was 3:30 in the afternoon and the temperature was 83 degrees, so I chalked it off to the heat and humidity and kept on truckin. When the 25 minutes rolled around, I had a really hard time stopping. My legs kept wanting to run, and well, who am I to stop them? I’m really nervous about the weather and about how I’m going to prep for it. I won’t have any on course support, so I need to make sure that I carry everything that I may need with me. The joy, the rapture.

Stats:
Course: Town lake hike and bike trail
Distance: 3.0 miles
Time: 36 min
Noteworthy: The legs would not stop running after I got properly warmed up. It took me awhile to get warmed up tho, but once I was there, it was on. I’m looking forward to Sunday, now, if only I can get a full night’s sleep…

You’ll have tons of on course support, wanker, don’t they have water stops every two miles?
