So, apparently, I don’t know as much as I thought I did about fixing knee pain. I can tell you that my knee still hurts, but now even when I’m walking.
On the plus side, I took a day off from running yesterday, and the day before in an effort to let things heal a bit. I’m debating going out during my lunch hour today for a quick 2 mile jaunt around Purgatory Creek, but I’m on the fence about that since I’ve got body pump this evening at the YMCA.
I have a few more posts in the works about the new section of Purgatory creek park the I discovered, along with some pictures etc. I just wanted to post about my knee problems to keep y’all in the loop.
Oh yeah, before I forget, I’m still icing it and taking Advil aka ibuprophen for the pain. My knee doesn’t look as swollen as it did in the picture that I took the other day, so I guess that’s a good thing.
