This morning’s run

18 March 2006 3 Comments

I got up this morning and took a quick run around the hood. I only wanted to be out for 30 minutes or so since I was still sore from Thursday’s run. It was a bit cool, drizzly and windy, which is my favorite kind of weather to run in. I had a good time eventhough for some reason I was still sore. I didn’t really get warmed up until after I’d been out for 20+ minutes but all in all I had a good time this morning. I wish I had waited to go until later because the weather has gotten colder and even more drizzly. I wish I had gone down to town lake or out to Walnut Creek park. Maybe next time, or maybe tomorrow.

Stats:
Terrain: Cement
Route: around the block
Timed run: 30 minutes
Distance: 2.63 miles, per the usatf webpage map
Noteworthy: the soreness in my legs went away after the run. I had a good a stretch after the run.

I’m trying to find your route but didn’t see any 2.63 mi for Austin on usatf. Is it posted publicly?

You can chart your route and find out how far you went, then not save it on the USATF website.
