Friday morning swim

It was a cold and drizzly morning. Well, it was drizzly anyway. The swim was good and fun. I found out that on Wednesday, they did a timed 2000 straight swim, I’m glad I missed that. I would’ve been bored to tears had I been there for that. We did one of my favorite type of sets, a pyramid of 50s. The first time around, we did the intervals thusly 55-50-45-40 3 times through. We did a bit of kicking, then we did it again, but this time we did it 40-45-50-55 and had to hold the fastest pace for all 12. It was harder to do than it seemed and by the time we got down to the last set both Todd and I were pretty winded. We finished up with a 400 pull, ah, they joy, the rapture.
Swim Stats:
Distance: total approx 2500
Best set: see above
Noteworthy: We were talking about our favorite southpark episodes in between the sets. I love that show.
