Yesterday’s run

Man, what a great run. After being sore on Sunday, I was a little hesitant to go run today. Still, I decided to go run HOL since I hadn’t said hi to my old friend in a long time. I started down the hill and veered off one of the little side trails. I was going along at a comfortable pace, taking advantage of my new stride configuration.
I stopped for a quick potty break, then kept going. Suddenly, I noticed my speed was increasing and I was actually running down the hill, instead of jogging. I was having such a great time, that when it came time to take my walk break, I just kept going. I was going to run up on the other side of the dam, but it was way too dark. I turned around at the little wood bridge and came back down across the dam and up HOL. I ran most of the way up HOL too, walking only a couple of times when my footing was too shaky.
Run Stats:
Distance: approx 3 miles
Time: 35:12
Noteworthy: Great run, felt really loose and comfy. I powered up HOL as well as up to the wood bridge. I need to bring a flashlight from now since it’s getting dark early.
