Great end of month

By rafael ~ September 30th, 2008. Filed under: running.

I ran 3.2 miles today, and it was awesome!  I was on the hike and bike trail east and ran from east to west.

I cut down my time by 30 seconds from the last time that I ran on the course.  I felt likeI ran more today than I did the last time, but I think I ran slower and for longer than the last time.  Does that make sense?

Anyway, this month, I rocked.  In the first 4, maybe 5 months if the year I ran 25 miles, and in the month of September I ran in 27 miles.  I plan on booking more than that during October, specially since I’m not going to be out of town on business.

I won’t say that I want to run the race in the town with the “W” in the name, but I do think that I want to shoot for running 25k at Sunmart.  I’m still thinking that I can do the half marathon in San Antonio just for grits and giggles.

I’m anxious to do some races so I signed up for the DreamMile 5K on campus this Sunday. If you can do 3.2 you can do 3.1! If not that maybe you can do the Skirt Chaser on 10/11? I know road races aren’t your thing, but doing 3 miles with many people is better than 3 miles alone regardless, right?
