I went out for a short run this morning in the woods around my place. It’s the first run I’ve been on since the 30k on Sunday and I must say that I felt surprisingly well. It was a pleasant run and since it’s been raining the creek was flowing at a healthy rate and everything down there looked beautiful and lush. I didn’t think that it had rained that much, but apparently I’m not much of a rain gauge.
Anyway, I slipped and fell into the water (yes again) right after the bridge so I decided to just get my feet wet and ran or walked through the parts of the trail that were covered in water. After all, I’m supposed to be a trail a runner now instead of a wimpy road runner that deosn’t want to get his feet wet, right?
Tomorrow, the power line loop on the greenbelt, yeehaw!
