Impressed

OK, here’s something that I’ve been debating whether I want to mention it here or not. I’m not sure exactly why, I’ve just been debating whether I should mention anything about this. It doesn’t really pertain me directly… oh what the heck, I’ll talk about it. My ex-wife, aka baby momma #1, yes, she has a name but I’m not mentioning it here. She hates it when I don’t refer to her by name, so in case she’s reading, “ha-ha” as Nelson would say on “The Simpsons”.

Anyway, she finished her first triathlon a couple of weeks ago. She did the Danskin triathlon here in town, and finished in pretty decent shape too. Our son ran her through the chute, so that was cool. I’m impressed by her finishing the triathlon. Sure, I run 30k for fun and am training for a 100k, but doing a triathlon is a different story. I know it took a lot of time and effort to train for it, and simply that she decided to compete is impressive in and of itself. I doubt she reads this, so it’s safe for me to say that I’m impressed that she put in the time, trained for and completed a triathlon. Hopefully it won’t be her last.

Good job wanker.

I was wondering what you were training for. I have never actually run a 100K before, but would like to do one. Good luck with the training.
