This past Friday, I did a 2.45 mile run at Purgatory Creek Park. My legs were really sore, so I walked more than I wanted to at the start, but then ended up running along just fine after I got properly warmed up.
I figured I’d do a photo post, so you can see what the trail looks like. It’s like I’m bringing you along for my run. I took most of these pictures on Friday September 02, 2011 but some of them were taken earlier in the year.
Right around this part, there are a bunch of rocks in the trail, which usually requires me to slow down since I don’t want to twist my ankle.
Ever since I discovered that I can actually run under the overpass and be out of the sun, my runs have been more enjoyable.
I always think of Yogi Berra when I come to a fork in the road.
This is the newest, to me, section of the trail out here.
Back out into the sun.
Up the hill.
The hardest packed dirt is on this section of the trail.
The gateway to the parking lot and the end of the run.
