Saturday Morning run

Well, I did it again. I volunteered to coach a running group for the upcoming Motorola, I mean Freescale, I mean the ATT Austin Marathon. This Saturday morning, I got up and met up with the group. I ended up running with the 11:15 group, which is a bit fast for me, but interestingly enough, I did just fine with them. Well, mostly fine.

I had to stop for a potty break, and lost the rest of the group, but I did manage to catch up to them at the halfway point. It was a good run for me, I stayed pretty much on pace. The route was around Town lake, yawn, but it was fun to run with different people than what I’m used to. Damn road runners and their devotion to pacing and having to use the bathroom to take a dump.

Run Stats:
Distance: 7 miles
Time: 1:24:03
Noteworthy: We ran from TxDOT to I-35, over I-35 to Mopac and back to TxDOT. Yawn, the hike and bike trail is so freaking boring. It was fun to run with new people though.
