Since it was Sunday, I ran in the opposite direction that I normally run in. I like to head deeper into the walnut creek bp (business park) on Sundays because there is less traffic and it’s a bit more solitary.

I felt surprisingly good the entire time. I didn’t really push it either, I just wanted to be done with the run, so maybe that had something to do with it. I ran on the left side of the street since I was trying to avoid being stopped at a traffic light waiting for clearance to cross the street. I think that in the future, I’m just going to go down the street a bit and not cross at the cross walk.

Turn around point
I didn’t stop all the way out to the turn around point, which surprised me since I’m usually out of breath at some point before reaching turnaround which makes me stop to catch my breath. Maybe I’m getting into better shape?

Along The Way...
While I was running through the city of Austin complex, several planes went over head, and I, of course, had to stop and take a couple of pictures. Other than that, it was pretty much a non-stop outing.
Overall, it was a great outing, even if I did get a blister on my big toe.
Distance 1.4 miles
