Catch up post

OK, so I’ve been bad about updating my runs on here. I just can’t deal with blogger and it’s hassles very often. So, 2 weeks ago, I didn’t have a chance to run at all during the week. Then on Saturday, we had a 6 mile run which I ran at the 11:15 pace with no problem. Then, the next week, I only made it out once and that was with Leslito. We ended up at the boring hike and bike trail but she hurt her knee so we mostly walked.

Then, this past Saturday, I ran 10 miles. It started off as usual with me having a hard time getting into the groove and having to stop for a bowel movement. After that, it was all good. I ran, pretty much the rest of the way at about an 11:15 pace. I cought up to and passed a bunch of people, and even got a compliment from one of the women in the other groups.

All in all, I know that 10 miles is a lot, but I feel like I should’ve done more and I don’t have that feeling of accomplishment like I used to get after running double digit miles. My hip extender was sore on Saturday and most of Sunday, but I stretched it a lot and my hunnay put some bengay on it, which made it all better. Regardless, I feel like I should be running more and just am not impressed with my running 10 miles.

Run stats for Saturday’s run:
Distance: 10 miles
Total time: 2:09, includes an extended restroom break and a 5 minute stop at a water station.
Noteworthy: I need more distance. I got told I have “nice legs” by a lady in another group that I was passing.
