Lance Armstrong pissed me off
A few weeks ago, I read Kristin Armstrong’s article about Lance’s run in the NYC marathon. Lance’s comment “they should feel validated” really angered me. This guy, thinks that because he can ride a bike, he can run a marathon without preparing. I feel like he completely disrespected me and my fellow brethren that train for months to run and complete a marathon. I reread the article today, and I’m glad to say that my feelings have not changed.
I’m still angry about it, and I’m glad. I do not need Lance Armstrong to tell me that I should feel validated about the effort that it takes me to run a marathon. I know what kind of effort it takes, and I don’t need you to tell me about it. If anyone should feel validated, it should be you Lance.

I’m not a big Lance fan by any means, but I really can’t stand Kristen Armstrong. At least Lance has accomplished something in his life. And if you saw how bad Lance was hurting after his marathon, I’m pretty sure he has a great respect for the race and all who run it.
b-dawg: Well, I’ll give him that, but he only developed that respect after the race kicked his ass. I just got really bothered by that comment.
I wonder if he has ever had a real runner injury?
And another thing: I remember when Cindy Sheehan was camped outside george’s ranch in Crawford, Texas, requesting a meeting with the little king to ask, What is the Noble Cause?
Lance took a meeting with the little king at that precise moment. The little king would see Lance, but not Cindy.
They took a bike ride together. That’s when Lance became my enemy.
