Well, well, well, here’s a long overdue update to this blog. I decided to run a 50k in Warda in November. I had to pick a race so I’d be motivated to run, but also I’ve gotten too fat and lazy. If you’ve seen any of the pictures in my opsmonkey blog, you’ll see what I’m talking about. Anyway, the registry for this url is going to expire in August, and I may or may not renew it, we’ll see how my money situation looks like then.
Warda, run #1
Location: Walnut Creek Park
Run Time: 22 minutes
Distance: Approx. 1.75 miles
Weather: Sunny, then thunderstorm which made me cut the run short.
Of note: I am out of shape. I need to run more and get into better shape.
After the run, I went to gym and swam an easy 500 yards, then the sauna, then the hot tub, then I went back to work.
