This morning, I went out to run loop 1 around the ‘hood. I got up on time but still managed to leave the house late because I wanted to check my email before heading out. I don’t understand why I had the need to do that, but there you have it.
At first, I was not feeling it. My legs felt heavy, prolly from yesterday’s swim, and I was just not in the mood to run. I walked for a good 1/4 mile in the beginning while I talked myself into running. Then, suddenly, I just started. There were a lot of cars out this morning so I had to keep an eye out for them, but there was a nice wind that kept things nice and cool for the most part.
I ended up finishing in a faster time than I did the first time I ran loop 1, yet I feel like I walked more in the beginning this time around than the last time I went out. I’m really curious to see if I’ll go out and run again 3 more times this week, but it does look like I might go swimming another 3 times.
Let’s see how long this fitness bout lasts.
