On being fat

14 March 2008 No Comment

It’s one thing to know that you’re fat, and another thing to know that you’re fat. When I was out running the other day, I remember being able to feel my fat moving at a different cadence than the rest of my body. Like how in that movie “Old School” when the fat kid is running towards the camera and you see all his blubber just rattling around etc., you know what I mean? Very not pleasant.
To top it all off, my plantar fascia was hurting like crazy the day after my last Barton Creek run. After every run, I either ice down my feet and take an ibuprofen, or have a beer. After my last run, I did neither and my left foot was just killing me the day after. I couldn’t walk on it, actually I couldn’t walk period because it hurt so much.  I guess there’s no real point to this post, other than complaining about how fat I feel.
