I hated that trip to San Antonio for my convention. The entire time I was there, the only exercise that I got was from running around from room to room with a bunch of equipment.
The Henry B. Gonzalez conference center is huge.
I didn’t sit around much at all, but I didn’t get a chance to go out to Government Canyon and run, but I did manage to go out around downtown, but it’s not the same. I’m a trail runner, not a road runner.
The hotel had a gym, but I never made it there. After 12-13 hour days, I just wanted to get dinner and get to bed so I could do it all over again the next day.
I don’t see how people can do this whole travelling for a living thing. At one point in my life, I wanted to travel more for work and go places and see things and whatnot. The thing is, I’m too old for that. The travelling lifestyle is not meant for me.
Anyway, I just wanted to mention that.
