Short run on the green belt

17 September 2008 No Comment

I went out on Sunday and ran on the Greenbelt.  I only did the short course, as I call it, which is from the entry point at 360 and Mopac out to the Mopac bridge and back.

It’s about 2.25 miles or so, but it took me way too long to complete.  It was really hard to start running, but once I got going, it was easy to stop as well.  I think I was hungry and tired so I had a hard time getting into it.

The nice part of it, was that once I got warmed up, it was easier to keep going.  I ran on the south side of the trail, which hugs along the wall and there is a part where you have to hang on to the wall using a chain.

Awesome stuff.
