Today’s run

17 September 2005 No Comment

The marathon group left without me. Actually, I was late getting to the site, so everyone left before I was ready to roll. Actually, as I was pulling into the parking lot the various groups were leaving. I saw all the yellows, the reds and the orange groups leaving, I even saw my orange group leaving. I parked, stretched, tied my shoes and left for the run. The route today was from the state parking lot, up the riverside hill, over town lake on the pedestrian path, back west along the hike and bike trail to the 1st street bridge, back over town lake and to the parking lot. I felt strong at the beginning of the run, but was tired towards the end. All in all, it was a pleasant run. Of note, is that I ripped my shorts when I was stretching at the end of the run. I think I needs me some more running attire.

Stats:
Distance: Approx. 4 miles
Terrain: mixture between cement and dirt trail
Time: 38 minutes
Temp: 84 degrees F
