Today’s run

So, today I went to run around town lake. It had rained and the weather was just right to go down there and run around the lake. I started from under the mopac bridge, crossed it and then headed east along the trail. It was nice and dark. The shadows were making interesting patterns on the ground and the moonlight was making the shadows in the trees do interesting things too. I had to pay special attention to making sure that I did not step in any doggie dookie or step in any puddles or mud and whatnot. I really enjoyed the run today. The music on the iPod shuffle was shufflin just right and it seemed to match the scenery. The joys of the solo run after an interesting day. I was running 10-1s for the length of the trail. I stretched a lot after the run, and left to go home.

Run’s stats:
Trail: Town lake hike and bike trail
Distance: 3.1 miles
Time: 36 minutes
Pace: approx. 12 min/mile
Noteworthy: A nice cool run in the after rain trail. Nice weather, nice night, not crowded, good tunes on the iPod.
