Just keep running

5 June 2009 No Comment

The point is, to just keep running. Put one foot in front of the other and keep going until you’ve run the distance.

Ultimately, that’s the goal. Test your limits and see if you can push them out just a bit more. Then, next time around, test your limits again, and push them out just a little bit more.

I’ve been doing just that in my little runs around my neighborhood in the mornings and in my runs around the trails in San Marcos. I’ve found that the the little bit that I push today, becomes the norm for tomorrow, so I need to push it out a little bit more again.

Just keep moving and keep running, you’ll reach your goal as long as you’re moving towards it.
