100 miles in 24 hours

That’s the goal, to complete 100 miles in 24 hours. I don’t know that I’ll do it at the Western States 100 since you have to qualify for the race and then get into a lottery and so on. It’s not quite as easy to get in to the race as they make it seem in the video.

For the record, no one runs an ultra race for the prize. People run ultras to prove to themselves that they can do it, the belt buckle is just proof that you did it under the allotted time.

The real prize, is in knowing that you conquered the distance.
