I wanted to update y’all on how my weightloss is going. As of today, July 2 2009, I’ve lost 30 lbs since I started my new weight loss/ running plan.
I’ve done it without any dietary supplements. Meaning, I’ve taken no weight loss pills, no appetite suppresants and no crazy diet. I’m still eating whatever I want, whenever I want. Be it pizza, ice cream, bacon covered bacon, you name I’m eating it. What I am doing, is eating in moderation.
Basically, I’m eating smaller portions, of anything that gets put in front of my face. I’m watching what I eat when I eat it off the plate. I have started to eat more vegetables, and I do eat more salads than I used to, but that’s really the only change that I’ve implemented as far as my diet goes.
This week, I’ve stepped up the distance of my morning runs. I found some new shoes that I bought last year and forgot about in the trunk of my car, so that’s one less thing that I need to find the money to buy.
I’ve been swimming this week, but I’ve still not gotten on my bike. I may try to do my first brick this weekend, but I’m really wanting to hit the greenbelt and go say “hi” to Hill of Life.
I have 80 lbs to go to reach my weight loss target. There are 6 months until my target race.
Come to think of it, if I may need to change the name of the site when I reach my goal weight…
