Today marks the first day of the Badwater Ultra Marathon. Yes, you read that right, the first day of the race. Competitors have 60 hours to complete the 135 mile distance from the middle of Death Valley up to Mt. Whitney in California.
It’s one of those crazy runs that I’d love to be able to do some day, but know that I’ll never actually do.
