Have y’all seen the new Surgeon General Regina Benjamin? Have y’all seen the hoopla about her weight?

That is crazy talk.

Seriously, because she’s a big woman apparently she can’t be the surgeon general.  Well, I can see the arguments that they’re making about healthy eating etc. but to quote Peter Griffin from Family Guy “C’moooooon, c’moooooon.”

Following the same logic, then C. Everett Koop shouldn’t have been surgeon general because he can’t talk to young people because of his age and Obama shouldn’t tell people not to smoke. So on and so forth.

Am I just smoking crack here?

The woman has all kinds of qualifications, she runs her own clinic where she treats people in Forrest Bump’s home town of Bayou Le Batre, Alabama. I like her already.
