There are many good things about losing weight, I won’t be talking about those in this post.
What I will talk about, are what sucks about losing weight. For the record, I’m not on any kind of diet, I’m not taking any pills, nor am I taking any supplements other than a vitamin pill. If you were expecting to see something on the list about eating Tofu and whatever, sorry but there’s nothing like that going on.
In no particular order, and without further ado:
- People saying “you’ve lost weight in your face” which begs the question: how fat was my face? I want to lose weight around my gut, not my face.
- Having to buy new clothes, but since you’re not done losing weight you can’t really buy a lot of stuff cuz it’s not going to fit for long.
- Having to buy a new belt. Seriously, a belt is a necessity given the above.
- People looking at you weird when you’re out running. Yeah, I see you in your car stuffing your face with a donut, for the record, I’m looking at the donut.
- That look of “dayam” when I’m out running. I love my “I may be fat but I’m in front of you” shirt.
- People thinking that I’m not serious about losing weight since I eat whatever I want to eat.
- Man boobs. Nuff said.
- When you’re fat, you have a big and taught belly that moves in unison. As you lose weight, the belly is no longer taught, so it jiggles like jello when you run or when you’re walking to your desk.
There are more, but I can’t think of them right now, plus it’s Chinese buffet day, yeehaw! What are some things that you think suck about losing weight?
