I’m going out to Purgatory park for a quick run today. I say quick, but I really mean short. I don’t know what happened that I got so far out of shape, and by out of shape I mean fat, in the last couple of months.

The swim was rockin! I had a great time. We did a 3 sets of 3 x 200 descend 1-3 and I was kicking ass. It was cool cuz I felt like I was just cruisin yet my times were decent. Anyway, my right arm was feeling weird during the middle set, and sure enough coach told me that I was entering the water flat with my right arm, so I adjusted my stroke and I was golden again.

I went swimming with my son this afternoon. We were working out having a good time. When suddenly he busted out with you look like a manatee

Took rest days yesterday and today. I’m adding 6 miles to my run tomorrow and doing my dang on benchmark run. I’ve decided that after the official run is over, I’m gonna run up to Guadalupe and then back to TxDot. I’ll keep ya posted.

So, after picking up and dropping off Fish, I decided to go for a swim at Deep Eddy. I love this pool. It’s an outdoor, 33 ? yard, spring fed pool with a constant water temperature year round of 69 degrees.
