Today’s run was a ton of fun. I felt strong and good on the run, and stayed on pace. I felt so good that I almost didn’t want to stop running. After all was said and done I had me a good work out. Did my lats, and triceps, pecs, biceps and triceps again. I’m not terribly concerned about losing more weight at this point since I feel like I’m gaining muscle mass. I finally ran again. I felt awful. I did my short 2.5 mile route and it took me way too long to do it. The weather was fine, everything was fine, I just didn’t feel like running it. After the run, I went and had a good work out. I managed to fit in my entire arm routine, which is a rarity, but all in all it was a good lifting session. I’ve taken a couple of rest days this week. Tonight, I go run in Walnut Creek with Trojan. We’re meeting in the parking lot by the pools at 7 if anyone wants to join us.

So, everything went pretty much according to plan on Friday night and I was able to be in bed on time. I was asleep by midnight, which is what I wanted, and I only had 1 beer. I was all psyched when I went to bed for a great run. Then, I overslept. I didn’t set my backup alarm, so when I turned off the primary alarm, there was no backup to make sure that I was awake. The 10 mile run was a lot of fun. The course was hilly in the middle, which was interesting to say the least. If there’s one thing that I’d like to change about my training it’s that I’d like to do more hills than what I’m doing now. The first few hills were hard, but after I got warmed up, it was easy as pancakes to hit the hills. Most of the people in my group took off once we got back to the flat …
