I went out for a run today after work. I just did the 3 mile loop around the block, so to speak. The run was hard today. I was really thirsty and just not feeling 100%. Alas, I’m glad I went for the run despite it all.
Stats:Distance: 3 milesTime:34:30Noteworthy: really thirsty, really tired, really slow run.

Well, after yesterday’s bath, today’s was a bit harder, but still fairly easy. We did a bunch of 600s, with some kicks and some other stuff in between. I swam at 8:30 this morning and had a lane to myself. I felt long and loose this morning, which was a good thing, I was nailing the turns and just enjoying not having to dodge people when pushing off the walls.

Man, I love swimming at noon. It’s a nice break in the middle of the day, and on top of that, you get to work on your tan. Not that I need to work on my tan. Anyway, today’s workout was nice and easy since apparently yesterday’s was a bitch of a workout. Good thing I missed yesterday.The entire workout was essentially an easy swim broken up into different sets.

Today was a great swim. Lots of distance covered in smooth pulls, or kicks. I really like workouts like these because they allow you time to yourself. Just you and the little black line at the bottom of the pool.
Stats:Distance: 3500Interesting set: 100,200,300,400,300,200,100, all swim, all on the 1:30 base.Noteworthy: I’m really starting to get in swimming shape again. I need to get back to running some more though.
