OK, here’s something that I’ve been debating whether I want to mention it here or not. I’m not sure exactly why, I’ve just been debating whether I should mention anything about this. It doesn’t really pertain me directly… oh what the heck, I’ll talk about it. My ex-wife, aka baby momma #1, yes, she has a name but I’m not mentioning it here. This afternoon, after my third interview, I went out to the greenbelt. I grabbed Lesley and had her come join me. We ran from the 360 access of the greenbelt and headed downstream towards Barton Springs pool. We ran out to the Spyglass entrance and back. A total of 5.5 miles in an hour and 10 minutes.
It was getting dark towards the end of the run, so we didn’t get to explore a couple of trails that looked interesting, but it was all good. …

I ran with a partner today. I hadn’t run with a partner since the last time that Lesley and I ran together in the greenbelt starting from the 360 access. Today, I took Lesley to the hill of life, since she’d never run it and well, I wanted to run some hills.
After we got to the access, I realized that I forgot to tell her to bring her camelback, so she was sans agua. I had plenty of water in mine, but I need to remember to …

I headed out to the greenbelt this morning with full intentions of running the powerline loop. The problem with that, is that I had no idea where the loop was, nor how long it was. No matter, I thought, I know where the powerlines are, I’ll just run to them and pick up the loop from there. I went out for a short run this morning in the woods around my place. It’s the first run I’ve been on since the 30k on Sunday and I must say that I felt surprisingly well. It was a pleasant run and since it’s been raining the creek was flowing at a healthy rate and everything down there looked beautiful and lush. I didn’t think that it had rained that much, but apparently I’m not much of a rain gauge.
