I went back out to HOL today. I forgot about yesterday, and ended up going out there again today with Lesley. We ran down the powerline loop, where I managed to lose trail again, but I did find some new and interesting ones that warrant further investigation. It’s true that getting lost back there is the only way to learn the trails.
