I’m slightly disappointed that I am going to miss my mark for running in the 10k this coming up Sunday.  Looks like I’ll have to just wait until later this summer to run in a different 10k.  I still plan on running a 30k in the late summer, to cap off the running season.

I swam 1500 yards today.  It took me about 30 minutes to complete the swim, so it was all in all a pretty good swim.  I think that the best part of the afternoon, was when I weighed myself before my swim.  I weighed 5 lbs less than I did last week.  Following Paul McKenna’s eating plan has helped me with that.  I think that by the time the Cap2k rolls around, should I stay on a 5 lb a week weight loss, I would’ve lost about 25 lbs or …

This is the second week of this show on TLC.  Lemme tellya, I like this show.  Last week, Paul McKenna, the host of the show, gave us the 4 tennets of the show.  They are:

Eat what you want
When you’re hungry, eat
Eat purposefully
When you’re full, stop eating.

So far this week, I’ve been in the water twice.  I haven’t run since my foot is still very, very sore from last week.  I think I’m just too heavy to run as much as I want to right now.  How messed up is that?  I want to run to lose weight, but I need to lose some weight before I can start running. 
Anyway, Monday night, I was in the water and felt like a beached whale.  I weighed in at a whopping 367lbs (166.8 kg).  That is now my …

It’s one thing to know that you’re fat, and another thing to know that you’re fat. When I was out running the other day, I remember being able to feel my fat moving at a different cadence than the rest of my body. Like how in that movie “Old School” when the fat kid is running towards the camera and you see all his blubber just rattling around etc., you know what I mean? Very not pleasant.
