This is a slide show of the pictures that I took. I wanted to post some pictures and video so y’all could have an idea of where I’m running around when I say I went to “Walnut Creek park” or what have you. I’ll post some other pictures and videos of the green belt and hill of life eventually. I just need to remember to take the camera with me the next time I go.

Here’s another video from my run at Walnut Creek Park. This pass, is usually wet, but since we haven’t had a lot of rain, it’s bone dry. I was trying to imitate that guy from the TV that does those nature shows, you know the one I have one more video to post from this run, and then some pictures. I am also still running, I just haven’t had time to post my updates. Here’s the video:

I went out to Walnut Creek Park yesterday for a run. I had the brilliant idea that I should bring a camera and take some pictures and maybe some video for you folks that have no idea what I’m talking about.
Here’s the first video from the run. I’ll put up the rest of the pictures and one or two of the other videos later on.
About the run itself, it was an hour, prolly did about 4 miles or so but I spent a lot of time setting up the videos …

I skipped my workout yesterday, but I had a good excuse. Seriously, I did. I skipped my workout, because I went to a Team in Training information session.
For those of you that don’t know what that is, Team in Training is one of the largest training groups in the nation. They are dedicated to helping the Lymphoma and Leukemia society find a cure for blood cancers. I went out to the Hill of Life today.
The Hill of Life, for those of you unfamiliar with her, is a 3/4 mile(??) long hill in the Barton Creek Greenbelt in Austin. It’s “affectionately” known in some circles as simply “HOL.” It’s probably the most challenging hill in Austin. Not just because of how steep it is, but also because it’s rocky and the terrain is very uneven.
