My friend Brownie ran the hardrock 100 miler this weekend.  The boy is a machine.
I don’t know how he did it, but dayam.
The boy was training for months before hand, and now my question is, what’s next?  What’s the next ultra the the b-dizzle wants to run?  Maybe I should interview him and do a teleseminar with him.  Would anyone be interested in that?

On the plus side, I was kicking in at a 45 second interval like it ain’t no thing. Very rad. The whole time in the water I felt like I wanted to puke, so that put a hamper on things, but alas that’s a whole different issue altogether.

I found this picture on some other wanker’s blog.  I thought it was a classic picture of what’s important and how to keep your priorities straight.  Really, what else is there to say?

So, like an idiot I decided to go running today during my lunch hour. It was 1 PM, in Austin, in the middle of the summer. The temperature was 98 degrees farenheidt, or however you spell it. In Celsius, that’s well over 36 degrees. Bright sun, high up in the sky, virtually no wind. Not good running weather by almost any measure. So, I did my normal loop around the office, only I ended up walking the last ½ to ¾ of a mile …
