Trail run this weekend

What’s this? An update???

I went to the hash yesterday and collected my 25 run foot.  Yay!  It only took me about 4 years to complete 25 runs, but in all fairness, I’ve been mostly inactive for the last 2-3 years.

I heard about what happened to a hasher named PP Longstocking.  He found Jesus and stopped hashing because of that.  Well, I’ve not stopped hashing because I found Jesus, I’ve stopped hashing regularly because I live 20 miles from downtown Austin, have 3 kids (1 of which is a step child), and a hectic schedule with all kinds of activities in it.

Maybe I need to found a Hays County hash and meet once a month or something like that.

I love hashing.

I love running in the woods, and that I’m aware of, there is no bible verse that says “thou shalt not run in the woods looking for a trail laid in flour that will guide you to beer.”  I could be wrong about that though.

Oh yeah, the question of the day is: Does a bear sh*t in the woods?  Most decidedly, yes. I had stomach cramps and had to pull a Boy George yesterday.  Mistakes were made. People paid.

San Antonio Marathon report

By rafael ~ October 22nd, 2008. Filed under: running.

So, I’ll just go ahead and say it.  I’m not running in the San Antonio marathon, nor the half marathon.  My fat ass just couldn’t get it in gear.  I think I need some training.

Brownie, you still up for training me?

I am interested in interviewing people that are running the race, and in getting people’s experiences etc about the race.  Anyone that’s running, let me know so we can make arrangements.
