At 4 a.m. Mountain Time, some crazy mountain goats in the shape of humans began “The Race Across The Sky” also known as the Leadville 100 mile trail run.
Competitors will have 24 hours to run the 100 mile distance, which is bad enough on its own, but throw in the ascents and descents since this is being run in the mountains around Silverton, CO and you have yourself a race.
Good luck to all the runners, specially you Brownie.
