OK, so after yesterday’s post about running like a 13 year old girl, I figured I’d redeem myself and post about a manly man. David Goggins is the guy featured in the video, and he’s a Navy seal.
This guy, is a machine. It’s not just my opinion.

OK, so not really a finish of the Boston Marathon, but if you go by how “The Biggest Loser” does things, then I definitely finished the race

The point is, to just keep running. Put one foot in front of the other and keep going until you’ve run the distance.
Ultimately, that’s the goal. Test your limits and see if you can push them out just a bit more. Then, next time around, test your limits again, and push them out just a little bit more.

In my dreams, I complete this race. Seriously, I think that there needs to be something wrong with you to even lust after this race, much less to actually compete and complete it.
This is not part of my goal, this is just a race that I’d love to be able to compete in some day. I realize that it will not be the ultra race that I complete before I turn 40, but maybe before I turn 41 I’ll do it.
