I went out to the greenbelt, I think for the first time this year, and was happy to see that there is a lot of water out there. The falls were simply beautiful.
I didn’t go up to overlook because I didn’t have time to go, but I figured you’d enjoy seeing this picture. I’m gearing up to get in shape to train for the 2011 San Antonio Rock’n Roll Marathon. Stay tuned for updates and whatnot.

I went out to the greenbelt today for my long run.  I decided to start September off with a bang and go for a long run today.  It was the longest run I’ve done this year.
I know that as a long run, it may not be very long, but I went all the way out to the Spyglass entrance from the 360 access.  With all the detours that I took I went 5.5 miles.

I ran today for the first time in almost 3 months.  Well, if you can call it running since it was on a treadmill. In any case, I’m just happy that I was able to run today and had no pain in my foot.
